Basketball, Track & Field, Soccer, and then to the Gridiron. CheikhSaliou Fall is a ‘Natural’; a high-intensity and explosive edge rusher with a ceiling that appears to be nowhere in sight. In only six years playing American Football, Cheikh became a highly sought-after Defensive End for several Division 1, Power-Four Conference universities following his tenure at Eastern Kentucky University. While playing for the EKU Colonels, he first excelled on Special Teams while quietly developing the skills that would have him become a formidable edge Linebacker garnering 23 Total Tackles (3.5 of them for a loss along with 3 Sacks), a Forced Fumble and Fumble Recovery, 2 pass-defenses, and 3 Quarterback Hurries (QBH) in his final year. Taking his talents to the Golden State via the transfer portal in 2024, destination – University of California Golden Bears, Cheikh gained further D-Line knowledge to enhance his game and showcase his versatility when his coaches challenged him to play multiple positions on the defensive line, including the 4i-Technique. He then repeated his stellar production in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), recording 20 Total Tackles (with 4.5 TFLs and 2 Sacks), 9 QBHs, and a Pass Break-up (PBU).

Cheikh uses his intimidating size and power to overwhelm his opponents as he gets constant penetration with his pass rush, and thwarts outside rushing schemes with his ability to set the edge and keep runners bottled-up. Two, three, or four-point stance, 3-4/4-3 base, or nickel and dime rotations, CheikhSaliou is an every-down player that wreaks havoc on any Offensive or Special Teams game plan.
