As an NFL prospect denied an opportunity to compete in his 2017 Draft Eligible year, Ed has spent the past seasons staying positive and improving his craft for an opportunity with an NFL franchise in 2020. In his senior season at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), Ed went 12 for 16 with his Field Goal kicks (long of 43 yards) and 25 for 25 with PATs for a combined total of 61 points on the season. Ed also performed punting duties for the CCSU Blue Devils, averaging 39.9 yards per punt and pinning opponents inside their 20 yard line 8 times in his senior season. Ed was invited to camp with the Arena Football League (AFL) Baltimore Brigade and was on the reserve list with the Albany Empire after working out with them mid-season. Ed remains active in pursuing his professional football opportunities by engaging in strenuous strength and conditioning programs to considerably improve his distance (posting a long of 65 yards to date) while playing in semi-pro leagues, participating in training camps, and accepting tryout invitations to kick in the CFL, XFL, and The Spring League 2020 (TSL). Additionally, we are proud to report that Ed shares his expertise by coaching at a local high school, and exercises his entrepreneurial spirit as proprietor of Power Kicking in his home state of Connecticut, where he conducts kicking camps for high school football players.
