Upon completing his tenure with the Steelers, Johnny then signed contracts with the Tennessee Titans for the 2018 season. Injury sidelined him after the first preseason game, and Johnny was later released from Tennessee by League rule after he was deemed healthy enough to return to work. Johnny is working his way to another NFL opportunity by remaining sharp, having played for the Alliance of American Football’s Birmingham Iron in 2019, and the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks in 2020. He will now suit up for the USFL’s Tampa Bay Bandits in 2022.
